It will also contribute to better mental and physical health outcomes as stable living conditions reduce stress and provide a safe environment for families. Furthermore, resolving the housing crisis can lead to greater social cohesion, as people from diverse backgrounds are better integrated into communities, and can reduce homelessness, thereby addressing associated social issues like crime and unemployment.

To become a registered political party, the House Party needs to lodge a membership list of at least 1,500 members as part of its application to the Australian Electoral Commission. The membership list needs to contain each member’s full name, residential address and date of birth as it appears on the Electoral Roll.
